Utah Concealed Weapons Permit Now Honored in Nevada
A law passed back in 2015 is now having some effect on the concealed carry reciprocity between Nevada and Utah.

The more recent loophole was for people to apply for a non-resident Arizona permit which was being honored by Nevada. Now, Nevada has removed Arizona as well, from its list of honored state permits. Nevada essentially has shown that they will honor permits from states who require similar training standards in order to obtain the permit.

The legislative commission in Nevada has repealed a law that prohibited carrying firearms in State parks. The law still prohibits discharge of a firearm in state parks with obvious exceptions. Nevada state law still protects the rights of self defense of course.

According to the Utah BCI 58% of the applications for Utah Concealed Carry permits are from out of state residents.
