Salt Lake PD Launch Data Website
With the increased amount of scrutiny of law enforcement nationwide the Salt Lake Police Department is trying to get ahead of potential issues by posting shooting and other response related data on a public data website that anyone can access.
Following many other departments in the country, SLC is trying to increase transparency and communicate their good intentions by making public all the data they can.
